About Advantage Angels — Healthcare Staffing Agency UK

Advantage Angels is a healthcare staffing agency UK built on a simple belief: that care homes, nursing homes and healthcare providers across the country deserve staffing they can genuinely rely on.

Over more than a decade, we have grown from a local Ipswich-based team into a trusted national agency, supplying experienced, fully compliant nurses, healthcare assistants and care professionals to services from East Anglia to Wales and beyond.

Who We Are

Advantage Angels specialises in healthcare staffing and private nursing services, supporting organisations and families with flexible and reliable care solutions.

Our team is based at our head office in Ipswich, Suffolk, and we work directly with care homes, nursing homes and supported living providers across the UK.

We also offer private nursing services in Suffolk and the surrounding area, providing registered nurses for one-to-one clinical care at home for individuals and families who need specialist nursing support outside of a care home setting.

We care, about care

Healthcare staffing done well is about more than filling shifts. It is about putting the right person in the right place, with the right qualifications, at the right time and doing that consistently, reliably, and with genuine care for the people being supported.

Every nurse, healthcare assistant and care professional registered with Advantage Angels goes through a thorough vetting process before they ever set foot in one of your services, including enhanced DBS checks, right-to-work verification, NMC PIN checks where applicable, mandatory clinical training, professional referencing, and ongoing competency monitoring.

It means we prioritise continuity. Wherever possible, we match the same staff back to the same services, so that your residents and service users see familiar faces rather than strangers on every shift.

And it means we are available when you need us. Healthcare staffing emergencies do not follow office hours, and neither do we.

We are Nationwide

Over more than a decade of operating as a healthcare staffing agency, we have built a network of over 1,000 registered healthcare professionals across the UK, including Registered Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Senior Carers, Domiciliary Care Workers and Kitchen Staff.

We supply staff to care providers across East Anglia, London, the South East, the Midlands, the North West, the North East, Yorkshire and Wales, with Suffolk and the surrounding region representing the heart of our operations and the area we know best.

Our compliance processes are designed to meet and exceed CQC standards, and our operational team works seven days a week to support both our care provider partners and the healthcare professionals we place with them.

Working With Us

Whether you are a care home manager looking for a reliable staffing partner, a healthcare professional looking for flexible agency work, or a family seeking private nursing support at home, Advantage Angels has a service designed around your needs.
We work best as a long-term partner rather than a last-minute fix. The care providers who get the most from working with us are those who share information about their service, their residents, and their preferences so that we can build a pool of known, trusted staff around their specific needs rather than sending whoever is available.

If you would like to find out more about any of our services, our Suffolk-based team is available Monday to Sunday, 9am to 8pm, and our out-of-hours line is available for urgent staffing requirements outside those hours.

Our Community of Angels

Our healthcare professionals are at the heart of everything we do.

The Advantage Angels community includes experienced nurses, healthcare assistants, and care professionals who share a commitment to delivering compassionate, client-focused care.

We work hard to create opportunities for our team to develop their careers, gain experience across healthcare settings, and remain part of a supportive and professional network.

Together, we are building a community dedicated to improving care and supporting healthcare providers across the UK.
