Client Based Specific Care

Our Private Nursing approach is ideal for individuals requiring higher levels of clinical oversight, complex care, or continuity following hospital discharge.

Our Private Nursing service specialisms:

With the right support, many individuals can continue living safely and comfortably in their own homes while receiving professional nursing care tailored to their specific needs.

Choice Matters

Choosing how and where you receive care is one of the most important decisions a family can make. In Suffolk alone, there are approximately 3,214 nursing beds available in care homes. However, demand for adult social care services continues to grow rapidly.

Industry projections estimate that 7,850 nursing and care beds will be needed in Suffolk by 2025 to meet the needs of the ageing population, with demand expected to continue rising into 2026 and beyond.

For many individuals, this means considering different care options early including the possibility of receiving professional nursing support at home.

Private nursing provides an alternative pathway for those who wish to remain in familiar surroundings while still receiving high-quality clinical care and personalised support.

Understanding the Cost of Private Nursing

Private nursing costs depend on the level of clinical support required, the complexity of care, and how care is delivered. Our role is to help you understand what’s needed and ensure you receive the right level of support without unnecessary services or expense.

At Advantage Angels, we take the time to understand your situation before discussing costs. Following an initial consultation and clinical assessment, we design a personalised care plan that clearly outlines

What support is included

How care will be delivered

The level of care recommended

Expected costs based on needs

Understanding NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC)

Following a clinical assessment, some individuals may be eligible for NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) funding. NHS Continuing Healthcare is a fully funded care package provided by the NHS for adults with significant health needs.

If an individual qualifies, 100% of their care costs may be covered, regardless of whether care is delivered in a nursing home, residential setting, or at home. Eligibility for CHC is determined through a professional assessment that considers:

The nature of an individual’s needs

The complexity of their condition

The intensity of care required

The unpredictability of their needs

At Advantage Angels, we can help guide families through the process and provide information about the assessment and potential eligibility for CHC funding.

Conditions We Support

Our registration includes both the treatment of disease, disorder or injury and personal care, meaning we are fully authorised to deliver clinically led support alongside tailored day-to-day care. Through this service, we will be providing a higher level of client-based, specific care for adults under and over 65, including those living with dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, physical disabilities and sensory impairments.

Neurological Conditions

This includes support for:

  • Parkinson’s disease

Neurological conditions often require careful medication management, mobility support, symptom monitoring and risk management. Our nurses are trained to provide structured care that promotes safety, independence and quality of life while reducing the risk of hospital readmission.

Our services include:

  • Oxygen monitoring and management

  • Support with CPAP and BiPAP therapy

Building Your Care Plan

We take the time to understand your needs, answer your questions, and design client-based, specific care that feels right for you and your family. You’ll feel informed, supported, and confident from day one.

Initial Assessment

Step 1

We start with a detailed assessment to understand the individual’s medical needs, routines, preferences, and goals. This can take place at home or in a setting that’s comfortable for you.

Creating your plan

Step 2

Using the assessment, our clinical team creates a personalised care plan tailored specifically to the client. This plan covers clinical requirements, daily support, emotional wellbeing, and how care will be delivered

Matching your nurse

Step 3

We carefully match you with an experienced nurse or caregiver who has the right skills, personality, and experience. Continuity matters, so wherever possible, we ensure consistency to help build trust and confidence over time.

First home visit

Step 4

From the first visit, you’ll receive professional, compassionate support delivered in line with your care plan. Our clinical team remains closely involved, providing ongoing oversight and adjustments whenever needed.

Hospital-to-Home Transitions

We work closely with discharge teams, GPs and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure safe and coordinated transitions from hospital to home.

Safety and compliance are at the core of our private nursing service. All of our Angels undergo comprehensive DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks before entering the home.
