Private Nursing Care Suffolk — Clinical Home Nursing by Advantage Angels
Private nursing care means a qualified, NMC-registered nurse visits your home to deliver clinically led support — on a schedule that fits your life, without the need for residential or nursing home accommodation.
Advantage Angels provides private nursing care across Suffolk including Ipswich, Felixstowe, Woodbridge, Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding area. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to deliver both personal care and the treatment of disease, disorder and injury — meaning our nurses can manage complex clinical needs at home that other agencies are not registered to handle.
Call us on 0330 1234 630 for a free, no-obligation consultation. There is no pressure and no commitment — just a conversation with our clinical team about what care might look like for you or your loved one.

Conditions We Support
Our registration includes both the treatment of disease, disorder or injury and personal care, meaning we are fully authorised to deliver clinically led support alongside tailored day-to-day care in Suffolk. Through this service, we will be providing a higher level of client-based, specific care for adults under and over 65, including those living with dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, physical disabilities and sensory impairments.

Learn more ›Understanding Cost & Funding
Costs depend on the level of clinical support needed. After an initial consultation and assessment, we build a personalised plan that’s clear on what’s included, how care is delivered, and what it costs — never more support than you need.
Some individuals may also be eligible for NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) funding, which can cover 100% of care costs where needs qualify. We can guide you through the assessment and application process.
Who Our Private Nursing Care Service Is For
Private nursing at home is not just for the very unwell. Our service is appropriate for a wide range of situations — from short-term support after a hospital discharge to ongoing nursing care for complex or progressive conditions.
We work with:
- Adults returning home after surgery, illness or hospital admission who need clinical support during recovery
- Individuals living with progressive neurological conditions including Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease and dementia
- People receiving palliative or end-of-life care who wish to remain at home with dignity
- Adults with complex physical needs including respiratory conditions, chronic wounds, PEG feeding and catheter management
- Families seeking continuity of care following changes in NHS-funded support
- Individuals who may be eligible for NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) funding
With the right support, many individuals can continue living safely and comfortably in their own homes while receiving professional nursing care tailored to their specific needs.
Could You Be Eligible for NHS Continuing Healthcare Funding?
NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) is a fully funded package of care arranged and paid for by the NHS for adults whose primary need is a health need. If you or your loved one qualifies, the NHS covers 100% of care costs — whether care is delivered at home, in a nursing home or in a residential setting. Many families are not told about CHC at the point of hospital discharge, and miss out on funding they are entitled to.
Advantage Angels can support families through the CHC assessment process — helping you understand what the assessment involves, what evidence is needed, and what to expect at each stage. Call 0330 1234 630 to speak to our clinical team about whether CHC assessment may be appropriate.
