    What the Role Involves

    As a Healthcare Assistant with Advantage Angels you will work across care homes, nursing homes and supported living services throughout Suffolk, delivering high-quality care to residents in a range of settings.

    • Supporting residents with washing, dressing and personal hygiene in a dignified and respectful manner
    • Assisting with mealtimes, hydration and nutritional monitoring
    • Encouraging independence and mobility while ensuring safety at all times
    • Observing and reporting changes in residents’ physical or emotional wellbeing to the nursing team
    • Completing care documentation accurately and in line with each resident’s individual care plan
    • Participating in activities and social engagement to support residents’ quality of life

    What We're Looking For

    We look for experienced, reliable Healthcare Assistants who are genuinely passionate about care. Here is what you will need to apply:

     

    • At least 6 months paid care experience in a UK care home, nursing home, hospital or similar healthcare setting
    • A caring, patient and professional approach to working with vulnerable adults
    • Valid and unrestricted right to work in the UK — we are unable to offer visa sponsorship
    • A clean DBS record with no relevant convictions
    • Your own transport is an advantage in Suffolk given the rural nature of some placements, but is not always essential — speak to our team about your location
