What the Role Involves
As a Healthcare Assistant with Advantage Angels across Norwich and Norfolk, you will work across care homes, nursing homes and supported living services delivering compassionate, person-centred care to residents.
- Assisting with personal care and daily living activities
- Supporting mobility, wellbeing and comfort
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
- Working alongside Registered Nurses and wider care teams
- Maintaining accurate care records in line with CQC standards
- Helping to create a safe, comfortable environment for service users
What we look for in our HCAs:
- A minimum of 6 months paid UK care experience in a care home, nursing home or hospital setting — experience at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH), Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust or any local care setting counts
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- The right to work in the UK — we do not offer visa sponsorship
- No criminal convictions
- A driving licence is preferred but not essential for Norwich city and nearby locations
